Proud to share my new short with all of you, published in the skullerific HAD.

This one is about what happens when limits on freedom of speech are given free rein.

For a while I wrestled with the title for this piece. It began as Voices in the Wind, then became Voices to Wild and Tame, before settling onto what you have here, Tongues To Wild and Tame. That small preposition ‘to’ carries a deliberate phonetic ambiguity. When spoken, is it ‘to’ or ‘too’ you hear? There is meaning in uncertainty. However, as is so often the case with my editing mind being unable to sleep after submission and/or acceptance, the new working title in my head for this is Quiet on the Tongue. Which is your favorite and why?

Sadly, reality is quickly showing that perhaps darkness is faster than light but I am thinking of expanding this into a longer work, with a positive spin. The world needs it!

My other question to you all, what would your last word(s) be?
